During this time of uncertainty, KCCC is transitioning to an online format. We will go over the same concepts, but the delivery will be online via Zoom.

Session Dates: Monday to Friday, #1 ~ 6/22-6/26, #2 ~ 7/6-10 and #3 ~ 7/13-17 (Note: Concepts will be the same for each session while activities and themes will vary from week to week).

Times: 3 Hours/Day ~ 9am - 12pm

A Unique Opportunity

Participants will work with an experienced teacher - 27 years in education, 21 in educational technology - who is credentialed and holds an MA in Instructional Technology and Administration. During the school year Parker teaches at a Blue Ribbon school (La Entrada Middle School). Most other camps can't offer this kind of an instructor. Additionally, KCCC is located in a beautiful setting while charging less than bigger camps in the area. Sign up for one or more of the one-week sessions. Register early before the 15 student/session cap is reached.

Have Fun While Exploring 21st Century Tools

Explore computer science concepts and build things using a variety of tech tools in a fun, self-paced environment. Some of the skills and tools used will include:

Web page design (HTML)
Exploration of computer science concepts online and unplugged
Programming with coding syntax and visual block coding
Online 3D design creation
VR creation and exploration
Coding practice in LOGO, JavaScript and Python
Digital Video Editing
Online game assessments, puzzles, scavenger hunts and other fun activities

Who: Incoming 4th, 5th, and 6th Graders

Where: Your home via Zoom

When: Three, 1-week sessions available. Daily schedule is M-F, 9am to 12pm
