Course Schedule

Session 1: Greeting individual students, starting a class, and ending a class.

Session 2: Asking questions, school announcements, and class announcements.

Session 3: Multimodality and giving directions for an activity

Session 4: Teaching simple academic concepts: describing, compare/contrast, and cause/effect

Sessions 5 & 6: Microteaching Demonstrations

Microteaching Demonstration Requirements 

The teacher will demonstrate the following in English:

• Greet an individual student

• Greet the class

• Describe a simple concept

• Ask questions

• Give directions for an activity

• Give a class announcement

• End the class
