I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
My research interests lie at the intersection of labor economics and the economics of education.
I will be on the 2025-2026 Job Market.
My job market paper investigates institutional grading biases and their consequences for access to higher education. I will be presenting my work at the upcoming ASSA meetings.
Beyond my job market paper, I study topics related to labor economics, economics of education, industrial organization. Methodologically, I combine tools from empirical industrial organization, causal inference, and Bayesian econometrics to understand how micro-level behaviors aggregate into broader economic outcomes.
