Welcome to KeepCount — Home Inventory Tracker ("KeepCount," "we," "our," or "the App").
We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency regarding how information is handled when you use our application.
KeepCount is designed to help users organize household items, manage inventory quantities, track supplies, monitor low-stock items, and maintain personal inventory records.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when using KeepCount.
KeepCount is designed to operate offline without requiring users to create an account or provide personal identification information.
Users may voluntarily enter information, including:
Inventory item names and descriptions.
Item categories and quantities.
Storage locations.
Purchase and expiry dates.
Minimum stock thresholds.
Item notes and custom category names.
Application preferences and settings.
This information is stored locally on the user's device.
We do not directly collect or transmit this information to developer-operated servers.
Information entered into KeepCount is used to provide the application's core functionality, including:
Creating and organizing inventory records.
Tracking item quantities.
Identifying low-stock and out-of-stock items.
Monitoring product expiry dates.
Searching and filtering inventory.
Generating inventory reports and statistics.
Saving application settings and preferences.
Exporting inventory data when requested by the user.
All core inventory processing is performed locally on the device.
KeepCount stores inventory records, custom categories, and application preferences locally on the user's device.
We do not operate a cloud database that stores user inventory information.
Users can edit or delete individual inventory items using the available application features.
Users may also clear locally saved inventory data through application settings where supported.
Uninstalling KeepCount generally removes locally stored application data. However, Android device backup and restoration features may retain or restore some information depending on the device's settings.
KeepCount may provide functionality to export inventory information as a CSV file.
Exporting or sharing information occurs only when initiated by the user.
Exported information may include:
Item names and categories.
Inventory quantities and units.
Storage locations.
Purchase and expiry dates.
Stock thresholds and notes.
When users choose to share exported files through another application or service, that third party may process the shared information according to its own privacy policy.
We do not automatically sell or share user-created inventory data with advertisers or data brokers.
Users are encouraged to review exported files before sharing them.
The current version of KeepCount is designed without third-party advertising or analytics services.
We do not use inventory records to create advertising profiles.
If advertising, analytics, or other third-party services are introduced in future versions, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain the relevant data practices.
KeepCount is designed to work without requiring sensitive device permissions for its core inventory management functions.
The App does not require access to:
Precise location.
Camera.
Microphone.
Contacts.
SMS messages.
Call logs.
If users choose to import, export, or share inventory files, KeepCount may use Android's standard file-selection or sharing functionality.
Any additional permissions introduced in future releases will be explained when appropriate.
We aim to minimize privacy risks by keeping user-entered inventory data on the device rather than transmitting it to developer-operated servers.
Users are encouraged to protect their devices using appropriate security measures, including PINs, passwords, and biometric authentication.
Although reasonable precautions are taken, no electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
KeepCount is a general-purpose household inventory and organization application.
The App does not require registration or the submission of personal identification information to the developer.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Parents or guardians with questions regarding children's privacy may contact us using the email address provided below.
KeepCount is developed using Flutter and runs on Android devices.
The application may use standard Android system features and third-party software libraries to support local storage, file selection, data export, and other application functions.
When users voluntarily share inventory data using third-party applications, the handling of that information is governed by the selected third party's privacy practices.
Any third-party integration that materially changes our data practices will be reflected in an updated Privacy Policy.
Users can manage their inventory information through KeepCount's available functionality.
Depending on the application version, these controls include:
Adding, editing, and deleting inventory items.
Managing categories.
Changing item quantities and stock thresholds.
Updating purchase and expiry dates.
Exporting inventory records.
Clearing inventory data.
Changing application settings.
Uninstalling the application.
Because KeepCount does not maintain developer-operated user accounts or a cloud database, we generally cannot remotely access or delete information stored exclusively on your device.
Inventory records and preferences remain stored locally until they are deleted by the user, cleared through device settings, or removed when the application is uninstalled.
Android backup and restoration services may affect how locally stored information is retained or restored.
We do not maintain separate server-side copies of user-created inventory records.
KeepCount is an inventory organization and tracking utility.
Information such as quantities, stock alerts, and expiry dates is based on data entered and maintained by users.
KeepCount does not independently verify product quantities, safety, freshness, or suitability for use.
Users should verify actual product labels, expiration dates, and storage conditions before consuming or using any product.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in application functionality, data practices, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements.
Updates will be published on this page with a revised Last Updated date.
We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
