10/16/23
Despite overwhelming opposition to their first rezoning application, Dominium filed a new application with Maricopa County and plans to push forward. Residents are forced to start over with their opposition efforts. Billionaire developers plan to bulldoze over neighbors no matter the cost.
6/1/23
Dominium lobbies state legislators to push for "by right" zoning, taking away residents' and voters' voices and would allow rezoning to be pushed through without a vote. After a strong grassroots effort by neighborhoods across the county, the legislation failed. Small win for the residents of Maricopa County. Small loss for billionaire developers.
