WE OPPOSE Dominium Apartments'
proposed high-density, housing project in South Chandler
Dominium Apartments, an out of state developer, in partnership with the Housing Authority of Maricopa County, is trying to rezone land in South Chandler to build high-density housing at the northwest corner of Pinelake Way and Ocotillo Rd (behind Target). The intended use of this massive, 25-acre project is for tax-payer subsidized housing projects. The project would have 4 stories (3 floors for housing and 4th for mechanical units), 518 units and house approximately 2,000 people.
This area was not planned for high-density housing and the project will be a severe burden on the City’s services and infrastructure along with many other potentially negative effects for the surrounding community. This project DOES NOT align with Chandler’s General Plan (voted on by 85% of Chandler residents). This project DOES NOT align with the Chandler Airpark Area Plan.
The City of Chandler is OPPOSED to this project, but it is being voted on by the Maricopa County Bord of Supervisors.
Please review the information below and help us fight to protect our beautiful and safe community.

Suggested Comments - PLEASE MAKE IT UNIQUE (Duplicate comments may not be counted)!
Please note my strong opposition to this rezoning application. The proposed project does not align with the Chandler General Plan and the Chandler Airpark Area Plan or the City's Water Plan. The impact on our community will be detrimental. The City of Chandler is opposed to this project, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors should be opposed also. Please note my opposition at your upcoming Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
