Keele Observatory
Keele Observatory
Keele Observatory has been established since 1962; it was built to host a 31cm refractor which dates back to 1874. Since then, it has acquired a 60cm reflector for research, and has undergone significant refurbishment and improvement in 2009.
It welcomes visits from schools and the public.
You can visit every Tuesday from 20:00-22:00 and Saturday 13:00-15:00
We have a well-founded group of volunteers that help out at Keele Observatory, and as mostly students of Physics/Astrophysics, we deeply care about the continued success of this great establishment for the sake of scientific study.
