OBJECTIVE

The Kedah Sailing Association was established with the objective to train and educate as many Kedah children to represent the state of Kedah in sailing sports. Then represent the country up to the Olympic level. Make them useful people for the nation and the country. Organizes annual International Sailing Championships, courses and Training camps. Organizes the Langkawi International Regatta Perdana Championship every year. The objectives of the Association are stated as follows:-

(a) Train as many Kedah children as possible to participate in sailing activities.

(b) Making the Kedah Sailing Association one of the excellent training centers for sailing sports. So that it can organize a training center for the country's surfers.

(c) Organize international Sailing Championships every year. The association has already organized it from 2003 to 2020.

(d) Successfully organized SUKMA for sailboat sports in 2006 and 2022.

(e) Introducing the privileges of sailing to Malaysians by holding sailing courses from as small as a sailboat to a sailboat and how to operate it.

(f) Produce national Olympic sailors. Kedah sailors have qualified for the London 2012 Olympics, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.

(g) Making the Training Center in Langkawi an International-class Training Center

(h) Always produce more Sailors to represent the country in the future at a higher level in the future.
