Nice to Meet You
Originally from New York, I spent my formative school years in the Dominican Republic, where I completed my elementary, middle, and high school education. This cross-cultural upbringing ignited a lifelong passion for global perspectives, multilingual education, and diverse ways of thinking.
My academic journey in higher education began at Hudson County Community College, where I earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. I continued my studies at New Jersey City University (NJCU), completing both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in World Languages and Education with a concentration in Secondary Education. Building on this foundation, I returned to the program—now Kean Jersey City—to pursue my Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), driven by a commitment to educational leadership, systemic improvement, and research-informed practice.
Above all, my family is my greatest priority and inspiration. I cherish every moment spent with my husband, our children, and my parents, who ground and motivate everything I do. In my personal time, I am an avid runner who enjoys logging morning miles, as well as traveling to experience new cultures and places each year.
