Cohort K1 is more than a group of doctoral students. We are educators, administrators, instructional designers, technology specialists, researchers, business professionals, nonprofit leaders, and lifelong learners. Our paths to this program are different, but our destination is shared.

We believe our diversity is one of our greatest strengths. Different cultures, experiences, professions, abilities, and perspectives enrich our conversations, strengthen our research, and prepare us to become thoughtful, inclusive leaders.

As the first cohort in the Kean University and New Jersey City University partnership, we are building a foundation for future scholars while supporting one another throughout every step of this journey.
