NGC 7023 - Iris Nebula

Acquisition and processing details

Experimenting with my setup, the TS61-EDPHII wide field telescope and the OSC, the QHY168C. This is a view of the Iris Nebula in Cepheus with a field of view of nearly 5°x3.3°. For me an overwhelming sight with all the dust clouds and dark nebula in the 'vicinity'. Love this setup.

Captured 97x180" frames at a moonless night on September 7th 2021. Integration done in Astro Pixel Processor, processing in PixInsight, fine tuning in Affinity Photo.
