Submission
We welcome full research papers, position papers, and extended abstracts. Papers that are under review at another conference or journal are acceptable for submission at this workshop, but we will not accept papers that have already been accepted or published at a venue with formal proceedings (including KDD 2022). All accepted papers will be archived on the workshop website, but there will not be formal proceedings.
Submission portal: Papers are submitted through the CMT portal for this workshop: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/OnlineMarketplaces2022/Submission/Index.
Please select the track for your submission in Primary Subject Area and indicate if your submission is a full paper or an extended abstract in Secondary Subject Area.
Paper format: Papers must be in PDF format, and formatted according to the new Standard ACM Conference Proceedings Template. Additional information about formatting and style files is available here: https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template.
Paper length: Full papers are limited to a total of 6 pages, including all content and references. In addition, authors can provide an optional two (2) page supplement at the end of their submitted paper (it needs to be in the same PDF file) focused on reproducibility. Extended abstracts should not exceed 2 pages, excluding references. No supplement is allowed for extended abstracts.
Review Process: Each full paper will be reviewed by three PC members, while extended abstracts will not be reviewed. The acceptance decisions will take in account novelty, technical depth and quality, insightfulness, depth, elegance, practical or theoretical impact, reproducibility and presentation. We will use double-blind reviewing. For each accepted paper, at least one author must attend the workshop and present the paper. Please refer to the KDD 2022 website for the policies of Conflict of Interest, Violations of Originality, and Dual Submission: https://kdd.org/kdd2022/cfpResearch.html.
A Best Paper Award will be presented to the best full paper as voted by the reviewers. All extended abstracts and full papers are to be presented at the poster sessions. Accepted papers will be given the opportunity to present at the spotlight sessions during the workshop. (Depending on the volume of submissions, we may be able to accommodate only a subset of them.)
