Diana Mingels, Head of Machine Learning, Kensho Technologies (AI Innovation Hub for S&P Global)
Diana is the Head of Machine Learning (ML) at Kensho, S&P Global’s Innovation hub, where she leads a large, cross-functional team building advanced ML applications for Finance and Business. She has extensive experience driving transformational change in large enterprises and evolving research-focused teams into efficient, production-oriented organizations. Previously, Diana led Conversational AI teams at Capital One, playing a key role in creating Eno, the pioneering U.S. banking assistant. With over 15 years in AI, she began her career as a computational linguist and has held engineering and leadership roles at Capital One and Nuance Communications. Diana holds a Specialist degree in Mathematical Linguistics from St. Petersburg State University, a Master’s in Natural Language Processing from the University of Wolverhampton and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a CTO Certification from Wharton Executive Education.
Fouzi Husaini, Chief Technology & AI Officer, Marqeta
Fouzi Husaini is Marqeta’s Chief Technology and Artificial Intelligence Officer, where he will scale Marqeta’s technology and AI organization to help accelerate and expand the rollout of additional key features into Marqeta’s platform. “Payments is inherently a data-driven business, and its potential to harness AI to solve complex customer problems is enormous. I'm excited to transform how we leverage this wealth of data to build smarter, more innovative solutions for Marqeta customers while maintaining a relentless focus on operational excellence, security, and resilience with our technology platforms." Most recently, Fouzi served as the Vice President of Machine Learning Engineering at Capital One, where he focused on building machine learning models to support Capital One’s credit products and services, including marketing, fraud, small business, and more. Before Capital One, he led technical teams at Amazon that delivered customer-facing experiences to Alexa customers, and also focused on Amazon’s machine learning risk platform to detect and prevent fraudulent orders placed on Amazon. Fouzi studied Computer Science Cal Poly SLO and lives in the Bay Area with his family.
Nurtekin Savas, Head of Global Credit Infrastructure & Data - VP, PayPal
Nurtekin Savas is the Head of Global Credit Infrastructure at PayPal, where he leads the development of data-driven platforms, AI and decisioning systems that power consumer and merchant lending across global markets. With a career spanning over two decades, he has held senior leadership roles at Capital One, Fidelity, Amazon, Visa, and AOL, consistently working at the intersection of finance, data, and AI. His expertise is on advanced analytics, data products, credit infrastructure, and scalable ML systems including recommendation systems, conversational capabilities, representation learning, and risk models. Trained as an engineer, Nurtekin holds graduate degrees in Data Science and Finance. He also serves as a technology advisor to several organizations and is a faculty member in Boston College.
Vijay Eranti, Area Tech Lead, AI Safety and Fraud, Google, Professor, SJSU
Vijay Eranti is a Principal Software Engineer and Area Tech Lead at Google, where he focuses on AI safety, Generative AI applications and agents, and anti-abuse technologies and platforms for various products and user content like Gmail, Workspace, Maps, etc. With over 20 years at Google, his expertise includes Generative AI for safety use cases, large-scale machine learning, classification and analysis, Agentic AI, and developing AI-driven solutions for content moderation and security. Prior to joining Google, he worked as a senior systems architect building an application server portfolio at Netscape/iPlanet. Concurrently, Vijay is a part-time Professor at San Jose State University, teaching advanced courses in the MS Data Science/AI program, including Data Science, Deep Learning, and Emerging AI Technologies. His background includes an Engineering Leadership Professional Program from UC Berkeley Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology and a Master's in Software Engineering from San Jose State University.
