Panel moderator- Dr. Arijit Ukil is having more than 20 years of research experience in different capacities. He is working as Senior Scientist in TCS Research, Tata Consultancy Services, India with expertise in the areas of healthcare analytics, deep learning, artificial intelligence and IoT. Prior to joining TCS in 2007, he has worked as Scientist in Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), India. He has published more than 60 research papers in distinguished conferences and journals. He has authored 5 book chapters. He has filed more than 50 patents with more than 35 patent grants in different geographies including Europe, China, USA, Japan, Australia, India. He holds PhD (Cum Laude) from University of Murcia, Spain. He is a Senior Member, IEEE. He is steering committee member of HealthyIoT, 2016, 2017. He is the general Chair in KDAH-CIKM2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Distinguished panelist 1- Dr. Debasis Ganguly is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor), School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland. Formerly, he was a research staff member at IBM Research Europe, Dublin, Ireland. Generally speaking, his research activities span topics on IR and NLP. More specifically, he is interested in semantic search, neural retrieval models, explainable search and recommendation, fair and trustworthy search, and privacy preserving AI. Apart from this, he is interested in automatically constructing knowledge bases from legal documents for structured and explainable search. He is a part of the organization committee of the Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Law (SAIL). His workshop organizational experience includes PASIR at CIKM’22, SUD at WSDM’21, SMERP-2018 at WWW’18, and SMERP-2017 at ECIR’17.
Distinguished panelist 2- Dr. Sriparna Saha is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Patna, India. She has authored or co-authored more than 400 papers. Her current research interests include machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, multiobjective optimization and biomedical information extraction. Her h-index is 38 and the total citation count of her papers is 7433 (according to Google scholar). Her research publications have been published in reputed forums like IEEE/ACM Transactions, AAAI, ACM MM, ACL, NAACL, CIKM, COLING, SIGIR, ECIR, ICPR, ECAI, and many more.
