Mission Statement
Our youth advisory board is committed to promoting substance use prevention and creating a safe and healthy community for young people. We believe that through education, advocacy, and engagement, we can empower our peers to make informed and responsible decisions about substance use.
Our mission is to collaborate with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to:
Increase awareness of the dangers of substance use and its impact on physical and mental health
Advocate for policies and programs that prioritize prevention and treatment
Empower young people to become leaders in substance use prevention efforts
Foster a culture of positivity, resilience, and mattering that celebrates healthy lifestyles and positive choices.
We are committed to creating a future where substance use is not a barrier to success and wellbeing, and where all young people have the tools and support they need to thrive.
