Coach Chris Rahimian has had a love of baseball since he could hold a glove and a bat. He loved playing catch with his dad in the front yard, playing pick-up games with friends in his cul-de-sac, along with trading baseball cards as a kid. Chris grew up in the suburbs of San Jose, California before moving to Kansas City, playing baseball as a pitcher at Blue Valley Northwest and at the AAU level.
Chris has been coaching baseball for the last 5 years. Chris has learned from and worked with Coaches like Al Saunders of the KC Chiefs, Coach Trent Mongero at Glynn Academy, Coach Ron Polk of Mississippi State University, Coach Jerry Weinstein of the Colorado Rockies, and most recently Coach Kai Correa of the Cleveland Indians.
Coach Chris is also a 1 year member of the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches, 3 year member of the ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association), and attends their national convention and Barnstormers Clinics on a yearly basis.
Coach Chris has completed his "A" USA Baseball Coach Certification Rating and is working towards his "B" and "C" rating.
Today, Chris coaches 2 youth teams, (11U and 9U). In the spring of 2019 he coached 4 teams including a Select and All State Showcase team.
Chris also resides on the Board of Directors at 3&2 Baseball.
Professionally, Chris works in FinTech, selling software to investment management firms. Chris currently resides in Olathe, with his wife Anne, and their 2 boys, Connor (10) and Landon (8).
