“Sport is the biggest global cultural practice. We in [the social sciences], I think, have neglected it at our peril.”
I am an Economics Research Master student at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics (BGSE). My previous research leveraged sports data and economic principles to investigate human behavior. Looking forward, I am particularly interested in the role discrimination plays in shaping outcomes in labor markets and education, integrating machine learning with applied econometrics to identify causal impacts. Ultimately, I strive to create research that not only illuminates the "what" but also provides compelling answers to the "why" and "how" of human behavior.
