I am a communication sciences researcher studying the intersection of autism, language, and identity. My research centers the experiences and priorities of autistic people. I hope that my work will contribute to a future world where everyone has access to the language they need to develop and communicate their identities.
In August 2022, I joined the Department of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology at Towson University as an Assistant Professor. Please visit my faculty webpage.
I am committed to working towards equity and justice in academia and clinical services. Please read more on my Advocacy page.
I have been an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP) since 2012. I currently practice in the TU Speech & Language Center. Before returning to academia, I practiced in special education and pediatric outpatient clinics. I specialize in evaluating and supporting the communication development of children and adolescents who are autistic and/or have complex communication needs.
