Starting on March 1, you will have the opportunity to attend weekly review sessions. This is being offered to both AP World History and Academy Honors Global Studies 2 students.
This website will have any resources that I share at the session. This allows both classes to get access to it without me having to post everything twice. BOOKMARK THIS SITE so you remember how to get here.
Links to the Zoom session can be found in your Canvas classroom.
We did a broad overview of unit 1 using the visual introduction slide. At the end, there was an emphasis on the importance of governance and culture in this unit. Check the slides to learn more.
If you intend on coming on March 8, please work on page one of the Unit 1 Big Picture review you see below. We will work on making comparisons between the state building and maintenance practices of this time period. Comparison is a history reasoning process that will be assessed on the AP exam.
Here is the link if the slides do not appear above. When looking at the photos on the slides with questions, you should 1) attempt to identify what belief system and society is shown, 2) what is happening in the picture related to that belief system, and 3) explain how the event or object can be used to legitimize a governments claim.
Review these items. You should be able to discuss/write about any thing in this column. You do this by talking about the by proving that column items. If you took notes and finished your assignments, you will have additional information that will go with this.
