What does KCHS Cheer tryouts look like? 

Submit online application by May 9th and join our BAND app

Grades: 2.0 or higher (based on most recent grade check) 

Learn material posted on BAND app prior to first day of tryout clinics

Submit interview video May 18th  (details on BAND app)

Tryouts 

Round 1: May 18-20, @KCHS Gym 3:30-5:30 pm 

• • • Round 1 cuts May 20 by 8pm

Round 2: May 21-22, @KCHS Gym 3:30-5:30 pm 

Final Tryouts: Saturday, May 23 KCHS Cheer Room 193

• • Times will be assigned between 9:00 am- 12:00 pm

• • Perform all material and skills practiced at clinics 

Team announced via BAND app: May 23 by 7pm

Placement on the team is determined by the coaching staff. Scores will not be disclosed, but athletes may request feedback from the head coach. Please note that we do not provide feedback to parents or family members.

NOTE: If you're interested in being a part of the Traditional Competitive Cheer team, you must complete sideline tryouts.
