How to Join KCEPA?

By joining the regional organization (KCEPA), you will also be prompted to join the state-wide organization (MAESP). You can pay to join both KCEPA (KC regional org) and MAESP (state-wide org) together.

**Membership in the national organization (NAESP) is not required, but is encouraged! The link below will allow you join all 3 organizations (KCEPA, MAESP, & NAESP) at one time.

Once you select the MAESP membership level you prefer, it will also ask what region you are working in (select Kansas City- Suburban). That will add on the KCEPA dues so that you join the regional organization as well.

Membership Dues

KCEPA- Kansas City Elementary Principals Association (regional)

Regional Annual Membership Fee: $35.00

MAESP- Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals (state)

State Annual Membership Fees:

Active Principal or Assistant Principal: $285.00
Aspiring Principal: $29.00
Associate Member: $143.00
- - Reserved for licensed, non-practicing administrator, or post secondary educator, or a retired principal who is currently working in education but outside of an active principalship, or those not eligible for other types of membership.
Retired Member: $72.00
- - A retired principal who was an Active member at the time of retirement, and who is no longer working in education. A retired principal who is working as an Interim principal must join in the Active category for legal benefits.

NAESP- National Association of Elementary School Principals (national)

Active Assistant Principal: $219.00
