We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the App includes:

Personal Data

Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Such as your name and email address, which you provide to us when you register an account with the App.
User ID: A unique ID generated by Firebase Authentication to identify your account.

Location Data

Precise Location Data: We collect your device's precise location (latitude and longitude) to provide the App's core services.
Foreground Location: We collect your location when the App is open and visible to display your position on the map.
Background Location: If you enable the "Share My Location" feature, our App will collect your location data even when the App is running in the background. This is essential for:
1. Allowing other members of your private "Circle" to see your real-time location.
2. Allowing the "Saved Place Alerts" (Geofencing) feature to function.
Location History: We store a 24-hour history of your location points to provide the "View last 24 hours" feature.

User Content

Profile Photos: We collect and store the photo you upload for your user profile, which is visible to other members of your Circle.
Saved Places: We collect and store the names and geographic coordinates of the "Saved Places" (e.g., "Home," "School") that you and your Circle members create.

Device Data

Firebase Cloud Messaging Token (fcmToken): A unique, anonymous token used to send push notifications to your device.
Device Information: We may collect device information (such as model and OS) for troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account.
Display your real-time location on a private map to members of your Circle.
Provide automated notifications (geofence alerts) to your Circle members when you enter or leave a Saved Place.
Display your location history to your Circle members.
Display your profile photo as a pin on the map.
Allow you to create or join private Circles.
Permanently delete your account and all associated data upon your request.

3. Advertising (AdMob)

This App is supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob to serve ads.

AdMob is a third-party advertising service provided by Google.
AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers (like the Google Advertising ID), and other technologies to collect information about you.
This information is used to provide personalized advertising. Google may use your device's location to serve you ads that are more relevant to your interests.
We do not share your private Circle data (like the specific location of other members or your saved places) directly with AdMob.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your information is shared only in the following ways:

With Your Circle Members: The core purpose of the App is to share information with people you trust. Your name, email, profile photo, and real-time location are shared with other members of your Circle.
With Third-Party Service Providers: We use Firebase (a Google service) to provide the backend for our App. Firebase handles our authentication, database, storage, and cloud functions.
With Google AdMob: As described above, to provide advertising.

5. Your Rights and Controls

You have control over your data:

Location Sharing: You can start or stop sharing your location at any time using the "Share My Location" switch in your profile.
Leave a Circle: You can leave your Circle at any time from the profile menu.
Deactivate Account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (including profile, location history, and saved places) using the "Deactivate Account" option in the settings menu. This action is irreversible.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures provided by Google's Firebase platform to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

7. Children's Privacy

This App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of this policy.
