The 2025 KC Yarn Crawl runs from Thursday, September 18 through Sunday, September 21. 

All five participating shops will have the same hours during the Yarn Crawl. Shop hours will be announced closer to the Crawl.

A yarn crawl is like a pub crawl, but with yarn: you visit one or some or all of the participating shops, you sign in at each store to be eligible for a prize (more about that below), and you find yarn and other goodies for your next project!

Heck yeah there are prizes! Our generous vendors have sent us amazing things and we'll have prizes available for shoppers who visit each LYS.

You'll sign in at each shop you visit using a QR code unique to that shop (each shop will also have a paper sign-in form if you prefer to keep things analog). 

Each shop will have Shop Prizes to award to randomly-selected shoppers at their store, and there will also be a Grand Prize to be randomly awarded to shoppers with a completed passport (i.e., folks who visit all five shops)! 

No purchase is required to enter to win any of the prize drawings, but you must visit the shops in person during the Crawl to enter. 

All five shops are working on all the details, so the best way to keep up to date about what we have planned is to subscribe to the KC Yarn Crawl's mailing list, follow the Crawl on Instagram, and check out the participating LYSs:
