KC Music Academy offers weekly private lessons for a multitude of instruments. In addition, we offer specialized groups, workshops, and camps throughout the year.Â
The Northland Harmonics

3rd-6th grade students are invited to join our choir: the Northland Harmonics! Our director, Mr. Brian Bellof, has many years of experience directing child/teen choirs and is passionate about helping every student to belong and work to their potential. Our choir will form a tight community while learning challenging music that will strengthen their musical skills. The end of semester concert will be December 6th.
Homeschool String Ensemble

Tuesdays from 11am-noon
September 8-Dec 1
Homeschool String Ensemble is a beginning orchestra class designed for homeschool students who are new to playing in an ensemble. Students can be beginners just learning their instrument or in their first two years of learning. They will develop essential orchestra skills including proper technique, music reading, rhythm, listening, and teamwork, while learning fun and engaging repertoire in an encouraging environment. This class is a wonderful introduction to ensemble playing and helps build confidence, musicianship, and a lifelong love of music.
Jazz Band
Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30
Participants must be in 8th grade or above and have at least one year experience with their instrument. This is an ongoing group with no start or end date. We welcome new members at any time!
Rock Band
Starting September 15th -- ENROLLING NOW
Beginners' band: Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30
Advanced band: Tuesdays from 8:00-9:00
Beginners' band: Students must be a few months into private lessons. Come improve your skills on your instrument while also learning to play with a group!
Advanced band: Students must have at least two years experience with their instrument. This is an audition group that is ongoing with no start or end date. We welcome new members!
Ongoing classes are billed on the 1st of each month; semester classes are paid in full before the class begins. There are no options to reschedule classes and no credits will be given for missed classes. A 30 day notice is required to cancel.
