Young Latino Professionals (YLP) is a network of more than 350 passionate individuals from all backgrounds and various industries who come together to shape their communities while developing as leaders. YLP provides opportunities for young leaders to engage with like-minded peers through social and professional networking, philanthropic outreach and professional development. YLP was the brainchild the Kansas City Hispanic Collaborative; an organization that works to create opportunities that may have been previously unexplored by young Latino professionals in Greater Kansas City. Through their efforts, our organization was formed to connect leaders and positively impact communities.

is a year-round college preparation, readiness, and retention program designed to help high school and college students with their educational advancement, career development, and civic involvement.
KC BizFEst College Scholarships
KC BizFEst College Scholarships
The top six winners at KC BizFest will receive checks to be used to further their educational endeavors. All graduating participants are eligible to apply for scholarships from participating colleges or universities. Participating higher education institutions disclose their scholarship terms and conditions and have their unique application process post-BizFest graduation. Please note, some colleges accept junior participants to receive aid while others may not. Colleges and Universities with KC BizFest Scholarship opportunities will be present at the KC BizFest Event participating in a mini college fair on Saturday, February 18, and will present at graduation.
