My research broadly sprawls into groundwater and agricultural water domains. In specific, I work in the following areas

• Geophysical exploration, Hydro-geologic characterization, and Groundwater Modeling

• Soil-water-crop interactions, and Agricultural water management

• Water use efficiency, and Micrometeorology in Agriculture

• Remote sensing and GIS for groundwater and agriculture

• Best ITRA-Water project awarded to GrIDSense team in 2014 at IISc Bangalore (cash prize: Rs. 20,00,000)

• Best Master’s Thesis award (2018) by Indian Society for Hydraulics (ISH) for the work on “Application of ERT, saline tracer, and numerical studies to delineate preferential flow and transport paths in fractured granites” (Cash prize: Rs. 5,000)
