KBTN is a refugee-led organization in Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Isingiro District, Uganda. KBTN stands for KYETE BIINGI TAI NYEME which translates loosely as “a shared load is always light” in the Congolese native language. KBTN was founded by Baraka Benedict and Mbilizi Kalombo to empower young and vulnerable people through livelihood activities and environmental conservation. It was officially registered in on the 15th day of February 2021 by Isingiro District local government as a community based organization. 

Mission :To empower vulnerable community. 

Vision: To create a sustainable, independent and resilient vulnerable communities.
