Dr. Kishor Shingare is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. His research focuses on advanced multifunctional materials, TPMS-based lattices, smart composites, and finite element modeling. Prior to this, he held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), one of India’s premier institutes, where he worked on modeling electromechanical responses in graphene-based composites.
He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Indore with a specialization in flexoelectricity in nanostructured materials, and completed his M.E. in Mechanical Design Engineering from Pune University. Alongside his academic journey, Dr. Shingare has led industrial R&D efforts as a Senior Manager at Encon Group, Mumbai, focusing on the design and failure analysis of FRP components such as axial flow fans and pultruded cooling tower structures.
Dr. Shingare has authored numerous publications in high-impact international journals, contributed to book chapters, and presented at national and international conferences. His work bridges the gap between advanced research and real-world engineering applications, integrating simulation-driven design with experimental insight.
