Universal Rubber Bands

Universal needed a fresh look to their brand and packaging for their office supplies line. A new logo and a re-designed package were created. I chose to replace Universal's wordmark logo with a symbol mark to set the brand's logo apart from the vast amounts of text needed to describe the product on the package. The strategically placed text provides the layout balance from top to bottom. Color blocks were used to frame out different types of information in place of the thin lines from the original look. The result has an identifiable hierarchy and flows better with a less cluttered look. A dieline was also created for this project.
