What began as a single spark—a bag of freeze-dried candy brought home by Eric’s daughter—quickly ignited into something far bigger. Fascinated by the texture, flavor, and sheer fun of freeze-dried treats, Eric decided to try making his own. He invested in a freeze dryer and started experimenting in his kitchen, developing unique recipes that quickly caught the attention of friends and family.

In 2023, Eric brought his creations to the public for the first time at Sioux Falls’ SiouxPerCon, branding his booth “Kreashuns.” His candy, inspired by the sci-fi, comics, and nerd-core universes he loves, was an instant hit. With imaginative names and intergalactic flair, Eric’s freeze-dried sweets stood out from the crowd.

By 2024, the Kreashuns universe expanded to include not just candy, but also vibrant new fruit options like spiced pineapple and rare pink pineapple—flavor-packed, shelf-stable snacks with a cosmic twist. Ever the innovator, Eric continues experimenting with healthier alternatives, including Greek yogurt bites, berries, bananas, and other freeze-dried treats that blend flavor with function.

Now part of the Kazmik Kreashuns collective, Eric’s freeze-dried line is just one star in a constellation of creative offerings. We’re proud to also feature custom 3D printed objects and handmade jewelry and trinkets, crafted by makers who share our passion for playful design, individuality, and science-meets-art innovation.
