Assistant Professor of Mechanical EngineeringUniversity of Houston - Clear Lake2700 Bay Area Blvd, STEM Building #2226Houston, TX 77058Email: billah@uhcl.eduEmail: masum.me106@gmail.comI am Kazi Md Masum Billah, an Assistant Professor of the Mechanical Engineering Program at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I completed my Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), TX in 2021 and 2017 respectively. I worked as a graduate research assistant at the W.M. Keck Center for 3D Innovation at UTEP.
In the Summer of 2023, I worked as a Visiting Researcher through the US Department of Energy-funded Visiting Faculty Program (VFP) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. My research and teaching interests are the intersection of the process-structure-property relationship of material extrusion additive manufacturing (commonly known as 3D printing) and the mechanics of materials. In parallel to teaching and research, I am actively involved in service-related activities within the university and the professional community.
Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my webpage. Please reach out to me via email if you are interested in discussing the research, teaching, and service-related activities.
