I received my PhD in electrical and computer engineering at UIUC under the supervision of Professor Ilan Shomorony.  I am interested in statistics, machine learning, applied probability, information theory, algorithms, and optimization.  I received my MS in electrical engineering at UCLA and BS in electrical engineering and computer science at UC Berkeley.  After my MS, I spent two years working as a research engineer in industry where I focused on the design of signal processing algorithms for communications.
