My name is Kaylee Cooper, and I am a freshman film student in Southern California. I have a passion for film making and videography. I have been creating videos for personal, creative, and professional settings for nearly four years. My favorite movies are Lady Bird, La La Land, Princess Mononoke, and Tangled!

I began my journey late my freshman year when a counselor of mine suggested video editing as a possible future career. I gave it a shot and instantly fell in love with it. Since then I have worked non-stop to gain experience and better my skills. I have taken Video Production classes while in high school, and have also taken the initiative to do a lot of solo work as well. 

Over the summer of 2024 I was given the opportunity to attend the National Student Leadership Conference for Film Production and Script Writing at UCLA. Here I spent nine days in workshops, field trips, with guest speakers, and working with my peers to grow our skills and produce a short film with professional grade equipment

In August of 2025 I moved to California to work towards my dreams. While I am currently working on a transiton between schools, I am determined to give it my 100% all no matter where the wind takes me. 

When I am not watching or making movies, I can be found either out exploring the city, at a concert, or with my friends!
