Welcome. This will be my 4th year within Burk ISD and my 2nd here at the high school! I was born and raised here in Burkburnett and I am a proud Bulldog graduate in the class of 2014. I attended North Central Texas college where I played softball for 2 years and then transferred to Midwestern State University where I earned a Bachelors degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. I went on to receive my teacher certification through I-Teach.

I teach History and Science inclusion and is one of the Content Mastery teachers here at the high school. I coach 7th grade volleyball and assistant coach for Varsity Softball at the High School.

I am married to Kyle, who is also a graduate of Burkburnett, class of 2012. I have 2 precious kids, Kolt and Kenna. We love to travel, be outside, and play any sport that involves a ball! We are bulldogs through and through and are excited to raise our kids as bulldogs as well!

Fun fact about me.. My husband is prior military through the Marine Corps. We have lived in San Diego, California and eventually moved to Okinawa, Japan. We lived there for 4 years and loved every minute of it! The picture perfect scenery was everything and met some pretty amazing people out there. Our son was actually born out there so he has a little Okinawan blood in him :) While we were out there, we got to travel to quite a few places. Some of them were Hiroshima, Osaka and Kyoto (mainland Japan), Taiwan, South Korea, and Thailand!

Tokyo Disneyland!

Real Life Mario Kart in downtown Okinawa

Kings Cross in South Korea

(makeshift Harry Potter :)

Promotion Hall in Hiroshima Japan. Quickly became a reminder of the devastation an atomic bomb can cause.

Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya, Thailand. The entire building is made of wood!
