How to Engage Respectfully
• Offer genuine, thoughtful feedback! your honest reactions matter.
• Refrain from harsh critiques or recycling someone else’s comments; these works are personal and labor-intense.
• Honor my learning disability and autism spectrum identity mockery or bullying has no place here.
• Approach with empathy. this is a space for connection, not judgment.
My Path Forward
Last semester at CSULB, I endured targeted harassment from a BFA : drawing and painting vitenamese bully student, which shook my confidence in traditional media. Through support from a Filipino CAPS case manager and ongoing therapy, I found healing in photography and digital art. While I still draw and paint, I’m mastering Adobe tools to reclaim my creative voice in a safer, more empowering environment.
Thank you for being here. Your presence and respect make all the difference.
