Dar Kayana is still growing
Rather than launching with a fixed calendar of large-scale programs, we are beginning slowly — creating space for artists, conversations, experiments, and collaborations to take shape organically.
Our first programs are intentionally small, flexible, and responsive to the people and practices around us.
We are interested in what can happen when artists are given room to meet, think, question, and create without the pressure of producing something immediately.
Small, informal gatherings around art, ideas, and questions that matter to us.
These may take the form of conversations, screenings, shared readings, or simply bringing a group of people together around a particular subject.
From time to time, we work directly with an artist or creator on a small project, presentation, experiment, or gathering.
The format depends on the idea.
We are interested in allowing these collaborations to develop naturally rather than forcing them into a fixed program.
As Dar Kayana grows, we hope to gradually develop longer-term forms of artistic support.
This may include:
artist residencies
commissions and new work
research programs
exhibitions
workshops and creative laboratories
publications
screenings and performances
public conversations
an archive of unconventional artistic practices
regional and international collaborations
We see these not as promises of scale, but as directions for the future.
Dar Kayana will grow at the pace that allows it to remain thoughtful, independent, and meaningful.
