Introduction:
Over the past five years, the high energy group at the Department of Physics, National Taiwan University has been very fortunate to have Professor Hikaru Kawai (川合光) as the distinguished visiting professor. During his appointment, in addition to continuing his own very active research programs, he has significantly enriched the research environment in our group also broader high energy theory community in Taiwan, and contributed tremendously to the education and careers of our students and other junior researchers. This workshop aims to mark the special occasion of Professor Hikaru Kawai's retirement from National Taiwan University, and will be dedicated to celebrate his remarkable career as an theoretical physics researcher and educator.
We are looking forward to your participations and contributions.
