Kavod is a leader in racial justice education for Jewish communities. We ask organizations that use our materials to support our work with a financial contribution on a sliding scale. Funds are reinvested to improve the workshop, and a portion is donated to one of our partner organizations doing local anti-racism work.
We are committed to disseminating our work and building relationships with other Jewish communities. Therefore, following Kavod’s principles of Living Out Our Justice Values and Rooting Ourselves in Relationships, we accept alternative modes of support if a financial contribution is not feasible. For example, members of your community could co-sponsor an event, join us at protests or signature collecting, share a d’var tikkun (words of justice) at a Kavod Shabbat, invite us to speak to your community, share our events on social media, or sign up for our newsletter. Other suggestions for collaboration are welcome.
Our recommended contribution is determined by a sliding scale that depends on (1) the size of the organization; and (2) the amount of workshop materials used.
(1) Kavod’s sliding scale model classifies non-profit organizations as Large, Mid-Size, or Small:
(2) We offer curricular materials for five 2 hour modules, which can be shared individually or as a set. Organizations may also request trained facilitators to run the 10 hour workshop.
The rates for use of our curricular materials and for a 10 hour workshop facilitated by Kavod are below.
