Research Officer in Data Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science
I am a Research Officer in Data Science at The Inclusion Initiative (TII) at the London School of Economics and Political Science, working with Dr. Grace Lordan, and a Research Affiliate of the LSE Data Science Institute. My research examines the economic consequences of technological change and generative AI, including their effects on the UK labour market and future skill demand. My work also spans causal inference and partial identification, optimal skills investment, and computational methods for social-science applications.
Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, working with Professor Enrico Biffis across the Brevan Howard Centre for Financial Analysis, the Centre for Climate Finance & Investment, and the Sustainable Tech Lab at Imperial-X. My research combined stochastic processes, statistical methods, machine learning and stochastic optimisation to study climate-related financial risk, asset pricing and greenhouse-gas abatement. From September 2023 to September 2025, I was also Lecturer and Module Leader in Financial Econometrics in R and Python at Imperial College Business School.
Before joining Imperial, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Lancaster University, working on high-dimensional statistics and statistical inference with Dr. Alex Gibberd and Dr. Anders Bredahl Kock, in collaboration with the University of Oxford and the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
I completed my Ph.D. in Econometrics at Durham University, specialising in nonparametric inference and Granger causality analysis, under the supervision of Professor Abderrahim Taamouti and Dr Xing Wang.
