I am particularly interested in understanding how phonological structure is represented and learned, and how this interacts with phonetic cues across languages. Some other topics that I enjoy thinking and learning about are loanword phonology, nasal place asymmetries, the realization of focus, and non-segmental processes such as reduplication.
Extensively prior to finding Phonology and sporadically afterwards, I have worked on projects in Syntax and Semantics, investigating correlative clauses, focus particles, copular constructions, and syntactic control.
I am a native speaker of Indian English, likely the variety of English with the largest number of speakers worldwide.
