I am a demographer and statistician driven by a curiosity about how populations change - and what those changes mean for people’s lives. My research explores the intersections of ageing, health, and inequality, with a focus on how demographic and economic transitions shape wellbeing across generations.
I am currently based at the Centre for Demographic Studies (CED) in Barcelona through the MSCA TOUCH Doctoral Programme. Before this, I earned my MSc in Biostatistics and Demography (Gold Medallist) from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, and my BSc (Hons) in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
I enjoy connecting data and stories, using statistical and demographic tools to uncover patterns that inform policy and deepen our understanding of human development.
When I’m not working with data, you’ll probably find me watching football, enjoying a good film, or listening to music - my favourite ways to relax and recharge.
