I am a faculty member at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Delhi Centre. I obtained my Ph.D. in Statistics from ISI Kolkata in 2017 and subsequently held postdoctoral positions at Imperial College London and The Alan Turing Institute, UK (2018–2021). My interests focus on the research and teaching of statistical methodology, statistics education, and interdisciplinary applications of statistics.
I have a distinct preference developing novel statistical methods for research problems that have direct relevance to practical issues. My work has been funded by ANRF, Govt. of India; International Growth Centre-ISGH; Lloyd's Register Foundation, the UK, among others. My statistical methodological research interest includes:
Quantile Inference
Extreme Value Statistics
Survey Sampling and Data Quality
Statistical Shape Analysis
Complex and diverse data of all kinds, arising from Climate and Environment, Public Health, Image, Functional, and Streaming data.
