Welcome to my official website!

I am Dr. Kaushalkumar Hareshbhai Desai, an academician, researcher, and educator with a passion for English literature, communication skills, and the study of graphic novels. With a strong background in teaching and research, I have been actively contributing to the field of literature, specializing in World Literature, Language, Literary Theory and Criticism.

Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor of English at ITM Vocational University, Vadodara, where I design and teach courses that bridge traditional literary studies with modern communication techniques. My PhD research, completed under the guidance of Dr. Anuragsinh D. Puvar, explores New Historicism in select graphic novels of Art Spiegelman, Will Eisner, and Alan Moore.

Beyond academics, I am deeply engaged in research, curriculum development, and faculty development programs. I have presented papers at national and international conferences and have published research in reputed journals. Additionally, I have played key roles in academic administration, NAAC evaluations, and skill-based training programs.

My teaching philosophy revolves around blending literature with real-world applications, fostering critical thinking, and in the matter of Communication subject, preparing students for industry-ready communication skills.
