Hi, My name is Katya Groscost and I am a recent graduate from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Management and a minor in Communication Studies. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and use that as a point of inspiration within my work, as well as how I view society and the world at large. 

I most recently began interning for Subway Creatures LLC. as a social media content creator and research intern. I have always been surrounded by and embraced the arts, media, creativity and connection. I strive for my work to center and reflect that, no matter the medium. 

I have a wide array of interests in popular culture, digital media, music/the music industry, performing arts, fashion/beauty, the entertainment industry, and lifestyle. I also have a large interest in- and have done in depth work with- both the idea of how media affects society and vice versa, and how culture, community and connection go hand in hand and affect one another. Besides creating content and studying media from a management/strategy standpoint, I also love to write, analyze popular culture from a critical lens and enjoy expressing myself and my work through an array of different forms of media and art. I also have experience in event planning, digital production and post production.
