Instructional Coach/ Leadership

The role of Instructional Coach during the 2020-21 school year required quick "out of the ordinary" solutions and training based upon new challenges occurring daily. In the beginning, the majority of my time was dedicated to instructing teachers with online learning management platforms and digital literacy in general. It was a new era for Instructional Coaches and required redefining the traditional job description. Although a lot of time was devoted to ensuring teachers' training for successful student learning, Instructional Coaches still found a way to explore the Jim Knight concepts of professional learning communities and facilitate daily site professional learning communities.

Proficient and/or certified in the following online programs: Google Level 1 ( currently working on 2 and Google Instructional Coach Certification), Canvas Admin, Blackboard, Google Classroom, and Educator Suite, Mastery Connect, ACT Aspire, Infinite Campus, Apple Educator, NewsELA, CommonLit, Study Island, Achieve 3000 Admin, Study Sync, IXL, No Red Ink, Nearpod, Notability, Jamboard, Prezi, Canva, all Microsoft applications and currently exploring online middle and high school college and career programs. Member of the Adult Learning Theory IC Cohort and received my IC Data Badge for OKCPS.
