Created through the phytogram, a cameraless photographic process, each work emerges through direct contact between plant and light-sensitive paper. Through their pigments, moisture, and chemical compounds, the plants actively participate in the formation of the image. They are not subjects but co-authors, leaving traces of their unique presence. 

Plants are often overlooked, dismissed as background scenery or, at times, as weeds. Yet they are among the first responders of life on Earth. Through the transformation of sunlight, water, carbon, and minerals into living matter, they sustain ecosystems, regulate climate, and make the existence of countless species—including our own—possible. 

This project invites viewers to reconsider their relationship with the vegetal world and to recognize plants not as background elements of the landscape, but as active participants in the ecosystems we share.
