Project mission
The ForEVR project is focused on delivering an improved interaction with another user or virtual character in immersive Embodied Virtual Reality (EVR). This research is funded by the European Union's H2020-MSCA-IF-2020 No. 101030793.
Exploring motion appeal
We utilise differnt approaches to understand what makes a motion of humans appealing.
Motion editing
We edit the motion captured motion to create more appealing motion.
Perceptual evaluation in VR
We apply the edited motion to virtual humans and conduct perceptual experiments in realistic settings.
Embodiment in VR
We embody the user in VR and edit their own movements in terms of appeal.

Our team participated in this year's Fête de la Science by presenting our research to the general public (Rennes, France, 7-17 October, 2022).
