I am a sociological researcher studying educational inequalities among young people in secondary education. My doctoral thesis examines the role of educational tracking in generating inequalities in various secondary school outcomes between second-generation immigrants and ethnic majority students.

Currently, I am working as a co-coordinater of a survey on Students' Perceptions of Inequality and Fairness at the Cluster of Excellence "The Politics of Inequality" at the University of Konstanz. Previously, I have worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, the Leibniz University Hannover and the Berlin Social Science Center.
