Transforming Statecraft? The Politics and Practice of Feminist Foreign PolicyWhen governments declare their foreign policies to be ‘feminist,’ are they actively recalibrating power or just redecorating it? In other words, does feminist foreign policy (FFP) transform how states exercise power, or does it merely rebrand traditional statecraft with a feminist framing? My dissertation builds on existing scholarship to understand the process, implementation, and consequences of feminist foreign policy as a vehicle for normative change in global governance.
