每一首背譜演奏的曲目可獲得 2 分記憶分。
下列樂曲可在 《Celebration Series® 第六版：Preparatory A Piano Repertoire》 中找到，對應頁數已標明。

學生需選擇用 拍手、敲打或哼唱 的方式，重現一段旋律的節奏。
主考官會彈奏該旋律兩次，並在開始前說明拍號，然後數一小節作為提示。
和弦辨認（Chords）
和弦辨認（Chords）
主考官會先彈奏一條 大調或小調音階的前五個音，
接著彈奏該調的 主和弦（根音和弦）以「齊奏」（blocked）形式彈奏一次。
學生需聆聽後，辨認該三和弦的性質是 大三和弦（major）或小三和弦（minor）。
旋律模奏（Playback）
旋律模奏（Playback）
學生需根據大調音階的前三個音，模奏一段旋律。
主考官會先說出調性，彈奏一次主和弦（Tonic Triad），然後彈奏該旋律兩次。
學生聽完後需在琴上彈出旋律。

針對指定的節奏，學生需完成以下任務：
用手或腳拍打一小節的穩定節拍（steady beat）。
然後在繼續保持穩定節拍的同時，說出、拍打或拍手演奏指定節奏。
此項目評核學生的穩定拍子感及強弱拍的表現（節奏重音）。
視奏彈奏（Playing）
視奏彈奏（Playing）
學生需演奏兩段四個音的旋律，這些旋律會寫在大譜表上，並從下列任一音符開始，並使用指定的手指：
一段旋律會寫在高音譜表，需用右手單手彈奏。
一段旋律會寫在低音譜表，需用左手單手彈奏。
旋律會以單一方向級進進行（音與音之間只相差一級），當中可能出現重複音。
只有第一個音會標示應用的手指，之後的指法需學生自行判斷。
學生必須從下列樂曲清單中準備3首具對比性的作品。每一首以背譜方式演奏的樂曲，將獲得2分的記憶分數。
